Lovely open campsite with lots of space and good facilities. Only downside is that I had to wait for a shower in the morning since one was out of order

Atale of 2 campsites. We came on a bank holiday and it was rammed. Tents v close together all around the field our neighbours 3 and 5 m away respectively. Far too close. We went to the pub for a meal and came back to find the centre of the field full of tents too so there was nowhere for kids to kick a football without disturbing people. Also the showers went cold for an extended period. I really felt it was overcrowded and the owners should limit this but I guess they just want money. We stayed till Tuesday when it was quiet and then an extremely nice place to be as its in a good spot with good facilities and vires. Don't go when it's busy!

Lovely family run would definitely come again I must say though. PLEASE clean up after your selfs for respect for the owners and there land.

Really Nice campsite, well kept.
Clean toilets, separate wash area for pans.
Showers are really food too. They allow fire pits so that was a bonus!
Stunning views all round too!

Stayed for one night, referred by a friend. Paid £20 for one person over bank transfer. All communication through SMS. Showers and toilets are new-ish but toilets were a bit of a squeeze when busy. It's only one field. Didn't see any owner/campsite people. Blimming skull and crossbones party bunch camped across me on the other side of the field, having loud pop music til 2am! Texted to the owner. No response whatsoever. It said on the entrance sign,"no noise after 10pm". Obviously, people with skull and crossbones flags don't know how to read. I talked to other people next to me in the morning. They were also fed up with them.
I personally told them off in the morning. Owners were useless. They weren't even on site to patrol the place. 1 star is what they get for being useless in that situation.

A very great place with friendly owner. You can either pay online or on the site. Very well maintained toilet and shower blocks with warm water. A separate sink area to do your dish washing as well. Best thing was you could park your car next to your tent which makes you job so much easier not having to carry your stuff to distant. Definitely going back again.

Nice little campsite. Toilets and showers are well maintained and clean. Owners leave you to it really, came by a couple of evenings to check if anyone needed kindling and make sure everything was ok. Decent location for going on hikes and there's a cafe close by. Enjoyed our stay!

Great campsite with good food round the corner at the yondermann. Great access to the whole area. Luxury of showers and toilets was a treat. Thanks very much we'll be back soon.

Great campsite and clean toilets.
The staff were friendly and very laid back with regards to rules… which was nice for us all to sit around the fire pit until 11ish, just wish other people were a little more considerate with how long they stayed out being noisy.
Overall our family and friends had a great time. I would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay, you are left to it but the owners are easily reachable. Coming to
Clean and drop off firewood in the evening.
It was quiet, beautiful scenery and a great location for hiking and getting to Castleton & Bakewell.
We had lots of space and could camp any where, nice hot showers, place to wash your dishes and freeze your ice packs.
Also so many cute animals and we were lucky to see all the lambs!
