An absolutely wonderful place to stay! We were 5 different families ranging from 1-52 years old and all had a fantastic stay here. The kids loved the bunk rooms and games barn, we all enjoyed the hot tub which stayed toasty warm the whole weekend! A really well stocked kitchen with plenty of crockery, essentials and included treasures such as cocktail shakers and cafetières! The bedrooms were beautiful with comfy beds and the bathrooms were spotless. An excellent weekend away celebrating my husband’s birthday - thank you to Marie for her swift communication throughout the booking process.

What an amazing place 😍 lovely views and a perfect place for a wedding

We stayed here for a low key hen party and it was the perfect venue. Lots of room, the rooms were all lovely, plenty of space in the kitchen and lounge area for us all. The play barn is a great addition with darts and pool table. Hot tub is wood fired so took a while to get started and you need to make sure someone is keeping a check on it. Overall great stay and would recommend.

Came for my cousin's wedding today and was so impressed by the beautiful location. Plenty of room for parking and numerous benefits and facilities.

Beautiful place in a beautiful location

We held our wedding at the Peak District Holiday Barn. The barn is in a beautiful, central location in the Peak District with stunning views, plenty of extra accommodation nearby and plenty to do in the surrounding area. The sleeping barn is perfect for large groups, well thought out and well equipped with a high-quality finish so that catering for lots of people is straight forward, there is plenty of seating and even the dormitory rooms feel luxurious. There’s lots of well-kempt, open outdoor space and the place is great for kids. The games room and wedding barn are fantastic spaces for planning a big event. The barn is well equipped with electricity points, heating and toilets and a lovely covered patio that opens up onto the gardens. Our guests absolutely loved it. Mark and Marie are a pleasure to work with, they are easy to communicate with, friendly, amenable and they put a lot of care into maintaining the barn. We would definitely recommend it!

Gorgeous place with fantastic amenities, unfortunately massively let down by issues with central heating on the ground floor and intermittent hot water for the showers. Owners were great though, extremely helpful.

Unbelievably good spot for big groups - highly recommend!

Great building, communication could be improved This is a really well renovated place for groups to stay. The quality is generally very high and there is some lovely carpentry in the interior. The group areas are well thought out, and the kitchen well equipped. There is parking for at least 5-10 cars depending on how you arrange them However, communication was a problem. Once we had paid the deposit we struggled to get a response to email, text and telephone calls. In fact, we had almost no response until an email arrived stating the balance was due, and then almost nothing after that. This delayed getting contractors on site to help with our event and caused unnecessary complications. On the one or two occasions we managed to get through on the phone the management were unwilling and unhelpful, and in some cases impolite. Don't let the poor communication put you off, but be ready for it if you stay here!
